Passing the Leash: The Next Chapter in Ruff Club's Journey

Hi Ruffians –

After 11 years of clubhouse-building, Superstorm Sandy-weathering, launching, thriving, and pandemic-surviving, I’m excited to update you on my next steps and introduce you formally to Ruff Club’s new acquisition partners, Alex Klein and Josh Marx, who are deeply committed to maintaining the exceptional service and community that we’ve built together at RC.

Earlier this year, I let a few friends and business contacts know that I was on the lookout for a new management team who I could trust—both to continue our hard-earned legacy, and to make the investments necessary to take RC to the next level, with more services, longer hours, and better integration with high-quality vets and other caregivers. I’m excited and relieved to have found this exact match in Alex and Josh.

I’ll still be working with and advising the Ruff Club team, but in a way that helps me spend time with my recently expanded human pack at home. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me, Sam, Alex, or Josh.

While this isn’t a goodbye, it is an opportunity for me say thank you. It’s been the highlight of my professional life to care for your dogs and share this adventure with you.

Since Day One, Ruff Club’s mission has been to channel the love and humility our dogs provide to create a new kind of community and a more personal daycare experience. Your trust, engagement, and loyalty have enabled us to execute that mission every day. I am fur-ever grateful.

<3,

Alexia
